RELIGIOUS LIBERTY CAMPAIGN 2012

The Religious Liberty Department would like to invite the New Hope Church Family to partner with us in our pursuit to maintain  the Religious Freedoms we enjoy. 

You can participate by subscribing to Liberty Magazine for  just $6.00.  This will cover a 1 year subscription.  You can also make a donation to Religious Liberty on your Tithe envelope. 

The religious liberty Offering helps to educate our Political Leader about religious liberty issues we are facing  and also to assist with Attorney fee. If you have any questions please see Sis. Barbara Edwards or Bro. Winston James.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES:

Sponsor a child or children as we engage them in first time Spring/Summer project "FLOWERS MAKE ME THINK OF JESUS’ SMILE." Please give all donations to the treasury department. We thank you for helping our children see the love of Jesus as they grow their precious flower plant. Wonderful things happen where flowers grow!!!

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT:

• Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Hear Ye!  Its Graduation Time again. All Graduates from Kindergarten, 5th Grade, 8th Grade,  12th Grade, College & Beyond, Please turn in your names to any member of the Education Committee. 
• The Education Department has launched a “care package drive” for college bound students.  We are soliciting your help to provide bedding, toiletries, or anything that is appropriate.  Please see any of the education officers for further details.

MEN’S MINISTRIES:

• Men of Hope is sponsoring the Annual Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 11am to 1pm in the Fellowship Hall

SAFETY DEPARTMENT:

• The Safety Department would like to meet with ALL Deacons, Elders, and all members who signed the Fire Marshall sheet, Sunday, May 6 at 11:30 in the sanctuary. Your attendance and participation in this important meeting is greatly appreciated.

WOMEN’S MINISTRIES:

• June 17, 2012 ~ Father’s Day Picnic in Stone Mountain Park (details to follow)
• All women are invited to the SAC State of GA Women’s Ministries Retreat ~ October 11-14, 2012 ~ Calloway Gardens, Pine Mountain, GA (ages 5-18 included in the retreat) Early registration: now until July 14, 2012 ~ Late registration: July 15 - August 11, 2012. All registrations must be paid by August 11. All rooms must be reserved by August 11. See Kathleen Ennis or Claudette Saunders for details.
• Young Women's Ministry, SoChristicates, is inviting ALL young ladies ages 14-24 for "Sabbath Potluck and Prayer" on Sabbath May 12, 2:00 p.m.-5:30p.m. at the home of Sister Faith-Ann Plummer.  Please see Sister Rochelle Dowdie for the menu sign up sheet and Sister Plummer for directions.

YOUTH DEPARTMENT:

• The AYS Department would like to congratulate the Boys Basketball Team  for their win as South Atlantic Champions. You are always our champions. There will be a celebration planned by the AYS Department for you. That date will be announced at a later time.
